PROJECT SCOPE
GOAL
In teams of two, design and construct a car model to be sent down a ramp, propelled by kinetic energy only, competing in various categories including: accuracy, fastest/highest air, and innovation.
REQUIREMENTS
Use laser cutting, 3D printing, vacuum forming, and more in a “making-testing loop” process to explore a variety of techniques, refinine iterations along the way.
Design within a set range of dimensions for parts including:
Weight: 575g,
Front Overhang: 8-58mm,
Rear Overhang: 8-74.2mm,
Wheelbase: 177.8mm,
Front/Rear Track: 127mm,
